HOW DO I GET STARTED?

I provide electric and acoustic guitar tuition from complete Beginner to Advanced level in a variety of contemporary styles including Rock, Pop, Indie, Funk, Blues, Metal, Jazz, and many more.

WHAT TOPICS DO WE COVER?

I help students explore and develop their musical style on the guitar, with my strong core understanding of guitar playing fundamentals, as well as knowledge in wider areas such as songwriting, live performance and rehearsal skills, style development, aural/notation training, and equipment guidance. 

 

WHAT AGES?

I teach ages 11+ (younger in some circumstances)

WHERE DO YOU TEACH?

I travel from my bases in S8 and S12 to teach in student's own homes.

CAN I DO GRADES / EXAMS TOO?

My lessons are friendly, fun and engaging with plenty of practical examples and carefully applied theory, and are reinforced by the Rockschool grade syllabus, which students are free to optionally progress through at their own pace if they wish. ​In other cases, students simply play for fun - both approaches are welcomed!
